Breakout Sessions

EIS - Trends

This breakout will provide an overview of EIS and highlight current developments, emerging coverage opportunities, and strategies shaping captives.  It will also include a Risk Manager’s perspective on the growing placement of placing builders risk policies in captives, emphasizing the benefits and process of utilizing a captive.  Attendees can expect to gain practical insights on structuring builders risk programs, regulatory considerations, and best practices for implementation.

EIM - Autopsy of a Nuclear Verdict

Join David Bissinger of Bissinger Oshman Williams & Strasburger and the EIM Claims team for an in-depth examination of a recent nuclear verdict that shook the legal realm.  The session will dissect the strategies employed by plaintiff counsel to escalate case values, explore effective defense tactics to counter those moves, and reveal the often-overlooked consequences that follow a catastrophic verdict—beyond the settlement itself.  Attendees will gain practical insights into litigation dynamics, risk mitigation, and lessons learned to better prepare for high-exposure cases.

EIM - AI & Cyber Security

Deploying Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to the benefit of EIM and its Members has emerged as a strong focus for our strategy.  Vice President of Strategy, Tanner McAndrew and Director of IT Operations, Sridhar Kocharlakota guide Members through EIM’s latest Artificial Intelligence initiatives, showcasing how AI is being deployed to enhance operations and deliver greater value to its membership.  Attendees will see a practical example of AI in action—demonstrating how it streamlines processes, informs decision-making, and supports risk management.  The panel will also highlight the robust security measures working behind the scenes to safeguard Member data, ensuring that EIM’s AI solutions meet the highest standards for privacy and protection.  Join us to learn how EIM is leveraging AI responsibly to drive innovation and support its Members.
