Vice President – Risk Management and Corporate Strategy
Tanner joined EIM in November 2023 as Vice President of Risk Management & Corporate Strategy. Tanner began his career at Evergy, Inc. (pka Westar Energy, Inc.) in 2009 where he gained a breadth of experience ranging from enterprise risk management and insurance to finance and energy trading risk analytics. Most recently, Tanner worked at Lockton Companies and Tallgrass Energy where he supported a broad range of energy clients across all lines of coverage and the development pipeline of cutting-edge carbon-free energy projects.
Tanner received his Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Business Administration degrees from Washburn University in Topeka, KS. He is a licensed insurance producer in the state of KS.
