Scott K. Goodell

President and CEO

Scott became President and Chief Executive Officer of EIM in January 2010.

Prior to joining EIM, Scott was a managing director with Guy Carpenter & Company, LLC, the reinsurance broking arm of the Marsh & McLennan Companies. During his tenure with Guy Carpenter, Scott, at various times, had responsibility for Guy Carpenter’s East and West region broking operations, and also was managing director of the firm’s Instrat unit, a global quantitative analytics group.

From 1987 to 1998, Scott was senior vice president, general counsel, and secretary of Sedgwick Re, Inc., which was acquired by Guy Carpenter in 1998.

Scott received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Delaware in 1976. He received his law degree in 1979 from Boston College School of Law.
