Experience the great outdoors without leaving the resort. The area surrounding Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress is just too beautiful to stay cooped up in your room, so get out and explore everything our Orlando resort has to offer. Rock climbing, biking, hiking and water sports await! All these activities are included in your nightly resort fee.

Rock Climbing at Hyatt Regency OrlandoRock-Climbing Stations (9am-5pm, 4 different walls)
Alongside the waterslide tower pavilion and blended into the rockwork of the grotto, our four rock-climbing areas with provide climbing hand- and footholds of varying difficulty for the beginner to intermediate climber. The climbing areas range in heights from 9-14 feet, offering options based on age, weight and skill.

 
Walking and Biking Trails at Hyatt Regency OrlandoBiking & Walking Trails (biking is 8am-7pm)
Go for a spin around our 1,500-acre resort property in Orlando on one of our beach cruiser bicycles or take a ride with the whole family on one of our old-fashioned canopied surrey bikes. If jogging or walking is your sport, we offer three varying trails—ranging from 1.3 to 4.7 miles—that are perfect for an invigorating workout.
 

Adventure Water Sports at Hyatt Regency OrlandoAdventure Water Sports (Boating is 8am-7pm)
Our private 21-acre Lake Windsong is the perfect spot for a water adventure. Take a leisurely ride in a paddleboat or a relaxing paddle in a kayak. Whether your taste runs to light and easy or full speed ahead, you'll find a wide variety of watercraft to fit every style, including hydro bikes, canoes, aqua cycles and sailboats. When it's time to take a break, sit back and catch the sun on our beautiful 1,000-foot-long white sand beach.

 All Day Tour (Sunday)
Enjoy the day at Islands of Adventure and Universal Orlando with the Park-to-Park pass. You can hop from park to park by boarding the Hogwarts Express. Enjoy movie themed rides, rollercoasters, and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Experience the new Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon.

12:00 - 1:00 p.m. = Buffet Lunch
  4:30 - 5:00 p.m. - Return to Hotel

 All Day Tour (Sunday)
Interact one-on-one with a bottlenose dolphin, snorkel through colorful reefs, and take a tour through the free flight aviary with more than 300 tropical birds. Also, swim near stingrays, sharks, and barracuda.  Tour includes breakfast, lunch, snack and drinks.

 

Schedule:

8:00 a.m. - Depart Hotel
8:30 - 4:30 p.m. - Enjoy the Park and Dolphin Swim
4:30 -5:00 p.m. - Return to Hotel

 Half Day Tour (Monday)
Come enjoy two off-roading adventures on ATVs, Dune Buggies, or an amphibious guided tour vehicle, a Mucky Duck. Whether a novice or expert, the 230 acres of pristine Florida countryside is a perfect place to try off-road driving in a safe environment. Whether it’s been raining or is dry, it is always an exciting challenge.

Participants will get dirty during this activity. Guests must wear close-toed shoes and are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes they don’t mind getting dirty.  There will be a safety briefing and waiver.

 

Schedule:
12:00 p.m. - Depart Hotel
12:45 - 4:15 p.m. - Participate in off road experience
4:15 - 5:00 p.m. - Return to Hotel

 Half Day Tour (Monday)
Start out at Andretti’s Indoor Karting and Games which includes a two-level track, bowling, over 120+ Arcade Games, Ropes Course, Rock Wall, Zip line, racing simulators, Laser Tag, and a Dark Ride Interactive Motion Theater. After all of that, you’ll be escorted to Topgolf Orlando! Challenge yourself and hit golf balls at targets on an outfield from our reserved bays. Because the golf balls are micro-chipped, you can earn points for each shot’s accuracy and distance.

12:30 - 2:30 p.m. - Free time at Andretti Indoor Karting
  2:30 - 4:30 p.m. - Free play at Topgolf Orlando in reserved bays (food/beverages available)
  4:30 - 5:00 p.m. - Return to Hotel

 Half Day Tour (Monday)
Enjoy a Spring Training exhibition game between the Atlanta Braves and the Washington Nationals. Champion Stadium is located in the middle of Walt Disney World Resort at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. Watch the game from the climate-controlled Endurance Suite where lunch will be served or the available stadium seats.

 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. - Lunch in the Endurance Suite
  1:05 - 4:30 p.m. - Atlanta Braves vs. Washington Nationals
  4:30 - 5:00 p.m. - Return to Hotel

Reimbursement Guidelines

After the meeting, each Risk Manager or Member Representative attendee should submit an EIM expense report (below) for reimbursement (converted to US dollars if applicable). Include all receipts and a copy of your airline ticket. If you have any questions concerning these reimbursement guidelines, please contact Taniyka Ragland at tragland@eimltd.com.

EIM will reimburse each Member Company for the expenses incurred by one Risk Manager or Member Representative attending the meeting.

If you are unable to attend the meeting, you may send an alternate representative from your company.

If no one from your company is able to attend, you can send your Broker. However, Broker expenses will not be covered.

All attendees will be responsible for resort charges upon departure from the hotel.

Below are the guidelines for the expenses that will and will not be reimbursed by EIM

The expenses that will be reimbursed:

  1. Travel expenses equivalent to air travel for one person Coach Class fare only. Airfare reimbursement maximum is $1,000.
  2. Taxi service from the airport to the hotel will be reimbursed up to $60. A receipt is required.
  3. Shuttle service will be provided from the hotel to the airport on Tuesday only. If shuttle service is not available, EIM will reimburse for taxi service up to $60 on Tuesday only.
  4. For Risk Managers, Sunday and Monday nights lodging will be covered by EIM. However, if you are attending an all-day tour on Sunday, Saturday night’s stay will be also be covered.
  5. The following meals will be reimbursed up to $50 per person: dinner Saturday if doing an all-day tour on Sunday, breakfast Sunday and lunch on Sunday & Monday (if you are not on a tour or golfing).
  6. Each traveler will be reimbursed for one baggage fee.

The expenses that will not be reimbursed:

  1. Flight expenses (seating upgrades, extra leg room or early check-in)
  2. Rental car.
  3. Hotel parking.
  4. Departing city airport parking or car/taxi service.
  5. Travel meals (to/from the meeting).
  6. Tips
  7. Internet service.
  8. Personal items purchased (golf balls, apparel, souvenirs).
  9. Expenses incurred by Brokers attending the meeting.
  10. Activities or amenities not organized by EIM (add-on spa services, hotel room mini bar, etc.).
