Jeffrey Tkacz Promoted to Chief Financial Officer

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

TAMPA, Fla., January 21st 2020 – Energy Insurance Mutual Limited announced today the appointment of Jeffrey M. Tkacz as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective March 1, 2020. Tkacz will succeed Tommy Bolton, who will become President and Chief Operating Officer on March 1, 2020, and will succeed Scott Goodell as Chief Executive Officer upon Goodell’s retirement in May 2020.

Tkacz currently serves as Controller for EIM subsidiary Energy Captive Management, LLC, a position he has held for five years. Prior to EIM, Tkacz held positions of increasing responsibility in public accounting for more than nine years, including as senior manager with Johnson Lambert LLP and a prior role with KPMG.

“Jeff brings a powerful combination of skills and experience to this role. He has strong expertise in insurance and finance and has developed meaningful relationships with our member companies. Although we engaged in a nationwide search for this important position, we are pleased that our succession planning has positioned the Company to find the right person within our organization,” said Carter Reid, Chair of EIM’s Board of Directors.

“I have known Jeff for many years, both at EIM and Johnson Lambert,” said Bolton. “I have great respect for his abilities and look forward to our continuing to work together. Stability and consistency are among the hallmarks of the EIM member experience, and having Jeff succeed to this important role will only serve to reinforce those qualities.”

Tkacz remarked, “I am very excited to take on a new role at EIM. I have been fortunate to work with EIM members in our protected cell captive business in Charleston, South Carolina, and assist them with meeting their risk management needs. I look forward to continuing to deliver outstanding service, financial stability, and stable excess insurance capacity to the EIM members in the future.”
