Ann Joslin

Vice President – Claims

Ann joined EIM in July 2004 as Claims Manager, the first in-house claims position for EIM. She was appointed Vice President – Claims in 2013. Ann is responsible for managing Property, Excess Casualty, Excess D&O and Fiduciary claims. Responsibilities include monitoring developments in complex matters, assessment of exposure to the EIM excess layer, involvement in strategic decisions related to litigation and resolution of claims. She also appoints, consults with, and manages outside counsel and experts. Ann is also involved with reporting on significant matters to the Board and other senior management. She coordinates reinsurance reimbursements, responds to reinsurer requests for information, and assists in the reinsurance renewal process. In recent years, she expanded the department to include a Claims Attorney and Claims Associate.

Before joining EIM, Ann worked for AIG from 1989 until 2004. She held various positions including Assistant Vice President – Environmental Claims, Home Office Division Counsel and Legal Auditor. She began her claims career in 1986 with Hanover Insurance and also worked for Yasuda Fire & Marine Insurance.

Ann graduated from the University of Connecticut with a B.A., cum laude, in 1983 and from Fordham University School of Law, with a J.D. degree, in 1994. She is admitted to practice law in Florida, New York and Connecticut.
